Connects FCU — Brand Refresh

This three-branch credit union had grown by over 200% based on acquisition and increased employee access. As such, their brand was not well known and there were lingering awareness issues following a previous name change five years prior.

The Challenge

With very significant member growth based on recent acquisitions, this credit union was looking to build awareness among the broader market as well as reinforcing the brand with existing members. After member requirements had been revised to open access to a wider audience, the client was looking to expand membership.

The Strategy

RMG set out on a deep-dive to refresh the brand across every channel and touch point. This included speaking with Executive Management to better define Connects FCU core values as well as make the brand timeless. Our re-branding work included radio, print, email, social, collateral, eNewsletters, member statements and inserts, point of sale and direct mail.

The Solution

Our team initiated the process with a thorough creative audit of all existing marketing elements. Our Creative Director and team worked very closely with the CFCU Marketing Director to produce a new creative palette of colors, fonts, icons and copy voice. These designs were then deployed on all of the channels mentioned above. In addition, we also designed prospect marketing direct mail campaign signage and event promotions.
